Training of trainers on gamification

Trainers of the organizations will develop a training scheme that will serve as learning pathway for trainers (teachers and educators), that will be firstly finalized to the implementation of the role-play game in schools, universities, youth centers, but that will include precious non-formal tools and methods for improving their knowledge and competences in the effective dissemination of EU values.

Creation of innovative tools for debunking fake-news

Organization of the game session of the game “Out of the box” with the objective of promote the debunking of fake-news. The table game is divided into 5 essential steps plus one (the first) ice-breaking step. The 5 steps will be faced as a real table game, with game cards, dice, contingencies. The objective of the game will be to create a campaign for promoting the debunking of fake-news. For doing this, online and offline tools (i.e. digital alphabetization, theater workshops) will be considered with regards to the best ways for reaching the target.

Gamification for the spread of knowledge on EU institutions

Participants will be involved in a final online simulation of a plenary assembly of the European Parliament that will be held in online. During the assembly, participants will present the proposals developed within the commissions.

Engagement of young independent fact-checkers

Creation of online network of independent fact-checkers for debunking fake-news concerning EU parliament elections of 2024. As their first task, they will share the idea of an online game that will serve to raise awareness on the issue of fake news among young people and encourage them to actively operate for bettering the situation at EU level. The members of the network, in connection one with another across the countries, will be in charge for screening the news, especially the one spreading during the electoral campaign

Promotion of the significance of voting to EU parliament of 2024

3 meetings per country will be organised, in which policy makers (at local, national and European level), European election candidates and journalists will be invited. These meetings will be an opportunity for the project target group to ask direct questions from policy makers. As the need analysis detected, the clearest, most deeply rooted and engaging attitudes are certainly those based on direct experience. In this way it will be easier to favor positive attitudes towards EU parliament 2024 elections.
